First 'PRIME' order help needed

So after my post yesterday and some great advice/help.
I linked my Royal Mail account to Amazon. (shows as linked/active)
Royal Mail is my ONLY preferred carrier from the list.
Yet trying to purchase buy shipping through Amazon, the ONLY option is My Hermes drop off! (which of course, I may as well throw the order in the bin and refund it now!)
HELP!

It can take 24 hours to link
Do you already have contracted rates for Tracked services - 24, 48, 24 LBT, 48 LBT on your RM business account ?

The only other thing i can think of is if Amazon have seen delays with RM and don’t think that T24 or T48 can meet the delivery time. I see this every now and then on our premium delivery

As others have said buy from C&D direct and upload tracking number for this order. You can send upto 2% of orders that way anyway without it affecting your eligiblity. As you have now turned off SFP it should be ok when you re-enable after the weekend.

However, have you asked RM to add the Tracked 24/48 option to your account? This has to be done as a separate process with RM. It is not automatically given when you enroll in C&D. If Amazon is seeing you cannot offer the Tracked service then it will default to giving you a Hermes label.

Also - make sure you buy labels before your set cutoff. As soon as the cutoff passes Amazon will only give you Hermes labels. It makes no allowance that you your cutoff may be an hour before your collection so you could buy after the cutoff and still make the collection. This has happened to me numerous times. If I buy after 4pm I get Hermes labels. If I buy before 4pm I get RM labels. My pickup from RM is 5pm. I process the bulk of my orders earlier but people can still buy up until 4pm so I check again just before 4pm to get any last stragglers. If Im a bit late I get given Hermes labels instead. Ive been told you can amend your cutoff to a later time and then it works giving RM labels but I not tried this yet.

My advice would be:

  1. Screenshot the issue, ensuring you can see the order number, and only option shown for purchase being Hermes. Take a separate screenshot with the list of carriers expanded to show RM Tracked 24 is not available, despite linking your account.
  2. Chat with Seller Support quickly and get them to tell you to book via Click and Drop and upload the tracking number of the RM Tracked 24 parcel.
  3. Turn SFP off for the moment whilst this issue is investigated before you compound the problem and make life worse for resolution with metric issues that will be around the corner if you don’t.
  4. Open a ticket with Seller Performance and detail what has happened, asking for exemption against the metric defect for that order number.
  5. Await Amazon’s actions to enable you to turn SFP back on.

Hope this helps.
