I want my money
I have fulfilled an order but Amazon is holding onto the money by placing it in a reserve. This has never happened before and I dont want it now.

You are talking to other sellers here, not Amazon. Shouting at us wont get you anywhere.
Do you know why there is a reserve on your account?
Are you an individual seller selling off your own items or a business seller (sole trader or Ltd) selling new items?
Unfortunately you don’t get a choice on this.

Perhaps you should just wait. Reserves on Amazon are common place and provided you fulfil the order and the customer gets it then you will get your money.
They are not going to pay you your money if you by shouting at them!

Sorry for shouting.
Haven’t been able to update account for years and consequently haven’t sold anything for ages. So it was a surprise when I did sell something and then found I wasn’t being paid as they had set up a reserve account.
As had problems with amazon account have been selling on other sites that pay you immediately so this non payment was a shock to say the the least.
So you do get paid, you just have to wait longer for it?

It could be if you haven’t sold anything for a while that the last time you sold something, payment was quicker.
You do now have to wait potentially until past the last estimated delivery date. And accounts can have reserves on them for various reasons, generally to cover for refunds or A - Zs.
Hopefully you’ve been keeping up with various policies changes on amazon in the meantime - mainly thinking of VTR.

Probably because your account had been doormant or left idle for some time, Im sure everything will get resolved in the end.
Best of luck.

Chill out
It’s too hot to stress yourself out.

Its just the scamazon way. They hold your money as long as they can, they then manage to take a week to bank transfer it, once they decide you can actually have your money that is, and how much of it. But, any issue at all, or refunds etc. and they manage take it back in maybe 1/8th of a second…
Once you get used to the fact ALL of this is for amazon, and anything that happens is for amazon benefit, you’ll relax a little. e.g. seller support? Lets make it sooooo bad, they never bother to contact us. Simples.

i have similar issue. ups lost parcel, paid amazon the claim, amazon wont pay me and just keep saying they dont have parcel(which i already know). have been getting automated response for 2 months now, infuriating

They love doing that sort of thing. They once held all the money they owed us from our Australian account for about two months because we’d had a couple of bits of poor feedback.
Always a double edged sword with Amazon - without them we wouldn’t be making a living working for ourselves, but the trade off is that you have to put up with their rather dubious legal practices when it comes to handling your money and stock.
Basically we live with it, or go back to a 9 - 5 job.
You’ll get it in the end.
We also have a parcel that UPS have lost - they picked it up from our premises on May 6th and it never made it to the Coventry centre. We’ve entered a claim and will probably have exactly the same issue recovering our money. When I entered the claim it wouldn’t let me do it at first because we have an account with them that exists for importing goods only (paying duties and VAT). I then had to redo the claim ticking the box to say it was through Amazon but, when the claim summary came through, the ‘ship from’ address was an Amazon one. I did attach the Collection Request document to my claim so I’m hoping that will help.
