Hi Im working through listing my first item, but under listing it says price and vat exemption etc, Im only an Individual seller (not business), so wondering about vat exemption. Is it safe to assume VAT exemption is automatic for individual sellers? If not safe, what do I need to do so its not listed or displayed with VAT etc?

Also any tips to avoid returns

Ie looked at many Seller University videos, but quite a lot of information to digest and cant find this info anywhere

I am an Individual Seller with a professional account based in the UK. I have just been told by an Amazon selling partner support advisor that I can only sell unwanted personal items for non profit. I do see this stated anywhere on the seller pages. He said that I need to open up a registered business first.

It doesn't state anything in regards to selling items from China or dropshipping anything on the individual seller page when you register.

What is the point of me paying 39 pounds a month if I can't sell anything besides my unwanted goods? I haven't sold anything as of it and don't plan to do so until this is all cleared up.

I have seen many videos and guides where people are importing/dropshipping items from China to the Amazon warehouse to sell. They are all individual sellers and haven't mentioned that you need a business account or a registered business to do so. However, the advisor told me that this isn't allowed in Europe.

I have also sent an email to Amazon as suggested by the advisor, but I also wanted some feedback on here.

I have Finnish company, which is going to take care off all our sales in Amazon EU.

We have established subsidiary to UK (Registered to HMRC, owned 100% by our Finnish company) and that company is going to take care off all sales in UK. I already have 1 Seller Central account (directed to Finnish company) for EU sales.

I am not sure should i add our UK companys VAT number to current Seller Central account VAT listings or should I setup a new account for UK company? I have understanded that it's illegal to have 2 Seller Central accounts, especially if you are selling the same products.
