Amazon strikes again!

Customer ordered size XL item, customer creates return saying item is too small and he would like size 2XL, return auto authorised.

He then files an AtoZ!

Amazon refund him, he STILL has the item and Amazon give ME a defect

While I agree, it shouldn’t have happened -we’ve found these A to Zs easy to win in the past where the customer hasn’t actually returned the goods (which is even easier to prove these days with the prepaid return labels!)

Simply appeal on the grounds that a return request was opened, but the customer never returned the goods, under Amazon Policy, the A to Z was opened in bad faith and you would find that the A to Z should not hit your ODR and you shouldn’t even be liable for the refund until the product is actually returned!

What reason was given for the A-Z?

Did the customer actually return the item? If so has it actually been returned to you?

He filed the AtoZ as “Different to what I ordered” he then messages me to tell me he needs a size 2XL instead of size XL that he ordered.

No, he has never returned the item, Amazon will usually put the return tracking info into the AtoZ if that is the case
