Funds vanished from seller account - a warning
Hello,
I will be closing my seller account and will remain a customer on Amazon as of course they are huge. I returned after a number of years after my account was compromised back in 2011. Ended up selling a few books recently, seemed good and there seem to be big improvements.
Went through the verification process but hit a snag despite my documentation supposedly not matching, but it did but kept coming back stating names not matched etc.
Two days after this received £6, the remaining balance of £40 has vanished. I assume once again my account has been compromised, but I don’t see how. Anyway not bitter or going to rant as I am happy to move on and cease selling here. I just feel sorry for those who have good businesses that get caught up in the machine. I appreciate safe guards are in place but it seems there are faults in the system and its frustratingly difficult to get contact for a resolution, but I know they have their reasons long term.
I’m not even going to pursue it further, just glad it wasn’t a huge amount of money. I mean the big boss on his big yacht probably earns five times as much per second.

Were you charged for the professional selling plan (maybe global account if its £40)
