Read onlyLooking at reinstating our Premium Shipping offers can anyone confirm if they’ve changed the cut off times from 2pm
On the General Shipping settings it says
Order cut-off times under General Fulfillment Settings are used to determine the Estimated Ship Date for non-Prime premium shipping. You are required to have a minimum weekday order cut-off time of 2:00 pm.These settings only apply to One Day and Two-Day premium delivery and are not used for Standard Shipping. Customers will see a cut-off time one hour prior to the one you set
But the help page states
The order cut-off times for your Premium Delivery options orders must be set to at or after 4:00 p.m. local time.
Obviously one is wrong but our postie comes at 3.45pm so hoping it’s 2pm
Premium: Mine is still at 2pm, but it was set up long ago.
SFP is supposed to be 4pm, however, Amz cut-off in reality at 3pm, for the cooling off period, of at least 30 minutes, so is possible they are altering Premium as well
(I suggest only offering 2-day and not 1-day, as far fewer issues, as gives a day spare in case not scanned etc).
We have ours set to 2pm, so its certainly possible. This was set up 3 years ago mind, so not sure if this has changed since, and we only offer 2-day, and then send on 1-day post so it minimises the risk of suspension - we have lost privaledges a few times for a single late delivery.
When SFP was changed to 4:30pm the wording on the premium settings page was changed to 4pm.
However this was soon changed back to 2pm so I believe it is the help files that are wrong as this was months ago.
I’ve just re-instated my premium shipping (I only offer 2 day) and I still have the cut off time of 2pm - mine was set up in 2018. Like @Langley_Projects I show as 2 day but send on a next day service to minimise risk of losing premium privileges.
Sorry to hijack the thread
On SFP it says you have to Use Amazon Buy Shipping Services for at least 98% of orders
As im sure most of you have a royal mail click and drop account or OBA how does it work
If i buy postage through amazon will my usual postman who collects my post in the evening take these as well
Would i have toput them in different sacks
Ok perfect
Would amazon logisitcs be like using multi channel fulfilment where amazon ship from your FBA stock
Is it possible to offer SFP on certain products or does it have to be on all the products i have listed
Ok that is great
Given me lots of info to work with
Thanks for your help
Thanks for those
Does that mean you have to include weekends for SFP as well
