Order received from Irish Republic
We aren’t VAT Registered. We have received a FBM order for ROI.
We aren’t talking about a huge sum (£16ish). Amazon has added VAT & Postage to the order.
We have no template set up for overseas supplies.
How does this affect us as far as VAT goes?
How can we opt out of this type of order?

Vat won’t affect you as you are not vat registered
Check all your shipping templates to see if international shipping is definitely unticked

Do you have international shipping set up with RM etc ?
I’d not, can you cancel without it impacting your account heath too much ?
If it is RoI and international is unticked, did they add a postcode to the order to sneak it through ?!

Are you sure Amazon has Added VAT? Usually, for non VAT registered sellers, they Deduct the VAT from the sellers price and pay them the Net proceeds even though this is an incorrect application of the IOSS process. It’s also the reason why most non VAT registered sellers have stopped selling to export.
It would be interesting to many if Amazon have corrected this error. Could you check an let us know, possibly with a screenshot of the order/charges/proceeds
