How do I issue a partial refund

I need to issue a partial refund to a customer but cant for the life of me work out how to do it. I have not shipped it yet. Am i given this option once the item is marked as shipped? Any suggestions welcome.

You mark it as dispatched 1st, then the refund button becomes available. This then allows you to refund the agreed upon amount.

After marking as despatched, as Isabella says, click on the order number, then refund, then options appear for partial refunds.
