I’m a non-US seller and resident of Spain. I am trying to complete identity verification on Amazon Seller Central. I uploaded my valid residence card, which was accepted, but the system continues to reject the ID number I enter.
The error message states that the number I entered does not match the one on the document, even though it does. I’ve double-checked the number multiple times, and I’m certain it matches the official ID printed on the card. This is my only government-issued ID as a Spanish resident.
I have submitted multiple support tickets and attached screenshots, but I only receive automated responses asking me to “update the number.” This is not possible, as it is the correct number, and I cannot change my identity.
Please escalate this to a specialist or human review. The verification system appears to be incorrectly validating the ID number format for non-citizen residents of Spain.
