June Monthly Report Summary - Calculating Wrong Sales & Fees

I've just downloaded our Monthly Summary Report for June and it's calculated our sales wrong and probably all the fees which go along with it.

It shows we only sold £38,802 from 1st June to 30th June

However on my dashboard it says sales in the last 30 days is £68,539

Anyone else experienced this for the latest June reports?

Are your payments now being deferred rather than released immediately? This started happening for a number of sellers in June. When the payment is released it has the date the payment was released and not the date that the order occurred.

If this is the case the monthly reporting no longer works correctly. You can use the deferred transaction report to get your missing sales however this is a snapshot of a few hours ago it will not include any payments which have been released since the start of the month.

you should download the VAT transaction report for your actual sales for june month.

Look back at your Payments page and go through your settlement periods in June. Check to see if you had an Account Level Reserve in a previous settlement period but don't anymore. Do you also have an amount around £10-15k in Deferred Transactions that may account for a week's worth of orders?

Amazon have begun changing how the DD+7 Day is reflected. Before, you would get the transaction on the day the order is shipped, but they would just hold the funds in your Account Level Reserve.

Now, they're processing the transaction on the Payment Release Date. This means if it was implemented for you in June, you effectively lose a week's worth of sales from that month. Future months should be OK but you'll just need to bear in mind that if you have really good sales in the last week of a month, you won't get the transactions through for these until the following month (ie 7 days after the delivery date).

Yep, having the exact same thing. Having to go off the Business Report and the Sales Economics and Fees for an accurate figure. Our Monthly Report Summary is literally nearly half of what we sold for some reason.

Me too for 10 clients. Be ware in using the VAT report etc as this does not show the correct fees (from which you reclaim UK VAT). I cannot raise this with Amazon but I advise everyone to raise this as this data set is very important (the one HMRC uses when it starts an investigtion)
