Hi
Does anyone know how I can turn off returnless refunds. I was not aware that it was turned on but Amazon have just refunded a buyer £32.95 with no return. Annoyingly the product was two parts and I had already replaced the non-working part so it should not have been refunded at all.

Are you sure its not the new refund on first scan
The first I knew was when this email appeared this afternoon. The buyer opened a return on the 22nd October saying: ‘The pump on this item does not work, should i return the pump or the whole thing i would like a replacement’. I said to just return the pump, which she did and I sent a new pump out, all sorted or so I thought. Then this afternoon Amazon just randomly refund her.
I then go on chat with them, which is a joke in itself, and the best answer they will give is to change my Returnless Refund settings and put in a rule. I have no idea what they mean by that as I have never agreed to any Returnless Refunds. I have messaged the buyer and she has not contacted Amazon or asked for any refund.
Ok but this was scanned on the 22nd October which is before that. Why would it also then take them another 10 days to refund it?
does anyone know what happens if the item is returned faulty to the seller
Thanks for the replies. I made a Safe-T claim and got the money back. It still should never have happened in the first place but that is just one of the many problems of selling on Amazon
