Hi, What sort of weight and dimension are they on average?

Ok.
We used to ship 3m surfboards and 5m kayaks with a company called Tuffnells and the rates were much better then the likes of TNT (who we used previously) and service was ok. The driver would call the customer to check they were home if you can share the contact I info. Think we paid around £30 per delivery.
We also shipped some surfboards up to 7 ft with DPD as they have a 5% tolerance for oversize “uglies”. So it would cost us 3.97 per shipment like a normal 30kg 100 cm box.
I recall the DPD account manager would meet me in our warehouse and see a bunch of 7ft surfboards being loaded and have a chuckle. UK Mail are a similar set up and will except a % of oversized items. So depending on the size of the item and your overall volume and ratio of large items you may be be able to go down this route.
It will come down to your volume off course.

You do need to be a bit more specific as to the size/weight your talking about.
If your talking plus 30kg, then you could be looking at Furdeco or the like.
