Sales have dropped
Hi All,
Is anyone still experiencing drops in sales we have dropped down a fair amount compared to this summer and we normally have a huge increase at this time of year due to it being close to christmas and black friday sales however it just seems to just keep dropping lower and lower.

We have experienced a massive increase over the last few weeks. I assumed that everyone is buying early for Xmas and it will finish earlier too.

There can never be a definitive answer to that sort of question - all depends on what you sell and if your category is saturated, and so many other factors.

This is one of those how long is a piece of string questions.
You might as well ask did anyone else sprain their ankle over the weekend, or did anyone go to the hairdressers today…
I know its a case of you feel like you’re not alone and it makes you feel better, but its just business, I have days where I will sell more in a day than I did the whole last week, and then maybe sales drop to single figures for a week after that.
Business is swings and roundabouts, when you’re on the roundabout someone else is on the swing

You may as well trudge up and down your high street and ask the butcher, the veg shop, the card shop, and the 24h supermarket - like here, they’ll all give different answers
