Frequently Returned Product Badge - Incorrect short term return rate in Voice of the Customer

One of our products got the Frequently Returned Product badge. We saw in Voice of the Customer that we needed to reduce our "Short Term Return Rate" to get the badge removed. We have drastically reduced returns, but the "Short Term Return Rate" hasn't changed at all, meaning it is incorrect. This is majorly impacting our sales for this product and the Return Badge should have been removed by now. We put in a case to fix it and have not gotten a result.

Thanks for posting to the Forums. As per the information given in case 16894833131, a product is determined to be frequently returned ASIN by comparing your ASIN’s return rate with the return rates of similar ASINs. The return rate is based on the number of units that were shipped, for which customers had initiated returns.

If the ASIN is sold by multiple sellers, we’ll use the ASIN’s aggregated fit return rate to determine whether to apply a badge. If an ASIN has a high aggregated fit return rate, we’ll encourage all sellers of the ASIN to ensure that the detail page contains accurate fit information.

Since the ASIN return rate is high than the threshold based on multiple fulfillment channels, ASIN B0BCCGSMNZ is currently determined as a frequently returned item. For more info, see the Frequently-returned item badge help page.
