FBA Warehouse didn't receive the inventory and asking me to provide the purchase invoice?
Hello everyone,
I have shipped a box on 14 December 2020 and on 13 January 2021, it says the shipment is closed and I need to reconcile. When I try to reconcile it asks me to provide an invoice.
I’ve never seen something like this. Why would amazon do that? What should I do now and are they asking for the purchase invoice of the items or the purchase of the shipment service? I’m really confused:(

You need to provide the invoice for the items to prove you bought them and then they will refund you for the missing items based on a combination of selling price, purchase price and some other factors

As has been mentioned it is the invoice for your goods so they can consider compensating you. They might not actually be lost though. I’ve noticed lately that sometimes shipments “time out” even though they do have the shipment. In my own case within a few hours of reconciling all the items were found and put on sale.

They want the purchase invoice of your products to start the reconcile. Just submit it they don’t even look.
It’s just one extra requirement since last year.
Before 2020,They’d only ask for the invoices for reimbursement purpose.
