I'm dealing with a stressful situation at a time when I have 500 units of the product inbound to Amazon
I was contacted by Amazon EMEA Safety to provide documentation for Safety. There were 3 main items to provide as below, of which everything was satisfactory except b below.
Submit the following documentation:
a. Declaration of Conformity.
b. Images of the product and packaging from all sides, showing 1. address of manufacturer or importer 2. CE marking and 3. brand and model number
c. 8 questions to answer.
We were asked to show manufacturer/importer address on product packaging alongsides CE marking which we did.
In fact I showed both manufacturer (chinese supplier address on back of packaging) and importer address (My business UK address on front of packaging).
However, this morning, I have received the following response
"1. There is a mismatch between the CE Mark present on the [product /packaging] and the address present on the [product /packaging].
We will decide whether to reinstate the listing once you have provided the required documentation, until then the ASIN remains suppressed."
My instinct is to keep only my UK address (As the supplier) and remove chinese address but I don't know if this will solve the issue.
I'm having panic attacks as I'm unsure if I may submit something that will permanently remove the product based on other's experiences.
Please can anyone help?
