HELP! Sponsored Brand Video Rejected for incorrect reasons

HELP! Sponsored Brand Video Rejected for incorrect reasons

Looking for help. I just received an email say my video for a Sponsored Brand campaign, which is scheduled to start TODAY, was rejected. This is the same video that I have on my product listing. The reason in the email was:

"Your video file cannot be processed. This can be due to a corrupted file or an end-of-file (EOF) character in the middle of the file. Please ensure your video plays properly from beginning to end, and update accordingly."

Except, there is no corruption, no character in the middle of the file, and I've confirmed the video plays beginning to end correctly. Again, it's the SAME exact video I've uploaded and had approved on my product page.

How do I get help for these rejections that continue to be false. The only path I've seen forward as a PAYING PROFESSIONAL user is to post to the community and hope someone from Amazon can help.

Doesn't matter if you can play it on your local machine. Could be a false positive, could be a problem in your file that you can't see, could be a bug in Amazon's creaky seller tech stack that will never be fixed or escalated.

If I were you, I would re-export the video file in a different format that Amazon excepts, and using a different name. If that doesn't work, I would attempt to re-export the file using a completely different piece of editing software, preferably on a different machine using a different operating system.

As I said before, Amazon's seller tech stack is a mess ... old components, endless dependencies, awkward kluges, features and fixes rushed to production, product managers and engineers not understanding sellers' needs or edge cases, and so on.

It's possible the first video was approved, then they updated the validation criteria which choked on the second upload.

Or, Amazon's notoriously siloed departments created different rulesets or even worse tried to reinvent the wheel by building a completely new validation process for video and it's buggier.
