Order without surname
I have an order without a surname, it has happened before but it was for stuff worth less than a quid and I didn’t mind so much as it was a LL that fit in the letter box. But this is a large and expensive order, as expected buyer doesn’t reply and I am not sure what to do, why does Amazon allow people to order without a surname?

Hi The_London_Link,
Try going to Order Reports/Add or remove order report columns and tick Billing to see if you get more information?

It is wrong that Amazon allow this to happen but I personally just send the orders if there is an incomplete name.
You may though have difficulty in defending an A-Z if the signature doesn’t match that on the order. Although I tend not to worry about this as there is no guarantee even with a surname it is the correct surname or that it will be signed by the person who ordered the item.

Thank you all, there is no surname in the order report, the buyer must be a Brazilian footballer. I will send it keeping my fingers crossed, as I would have a decent margin
