Amazon account getting spam
I have a unique email address for my Amazon selling account which I have used for the last 12 years. I am meticulously careful about security and never use it for anything else. I also ignore all amazon emails that appear in my emails and only answer messages through my Amazon account. Last week I suddenly started to get a series of span emails every day on this email account but they are not appearing on my amazon account. Any ideas how this has happened please so I can prevent it happening again? I have opened a new unique email and changed all my amazon settings and will let the old one die. So they should stop.

When you say spam, do you mean spam or phishing attempts ?
Just to note that all external correspondence with amazon ie appeals etc needs to be sent from the primary email address registered to the amazon account

That could be unwise, as you may well miss important communications from Amazon themselves.
