Diamond Comic Distributors
Hello Booksellers on The Forum,
I have mentioned this before, but "Ink. Diamond Comic Distributors" have been overwriting Amazon's Data Base...
As far as I can tell, they replaced Baen Books as a publisher ?takeover? but are now listed as AUTHOR for many of Amazon's book listings - if you do an Advanced Search in Books with Diamond Comic Distributors as author you will see this.
That means that anyone searching by Title and Author will not find the book they want... and the Detail Pages have a mis-match between the image and the description
This evolving overwriting should be stopped for everyone's benefit - can any of the Forum Moderators please draw it to the attention of the appropriate team - @Winston_Amazon@Ash_AMZ@Sarah_Amzn@Julia_Amazon
Thank you
Brian

Hey there @Seller_19xPhE8YgkmxW,
Can you raise this issue with Seller Support? So I can flag it?

Hello @Winston_Amazon,
I can't seem to - if I Get Help/Selling on Amazon and mark Title, description, bullets update - Fix incorrect or missing details on the detail page, like the title, bullets or description - and I flag the title for e.g. 0743435621 as incorrect it tells me that e.g. March to the Stars is the title and if I try to include the author's name "by John Ringo" it informs me that this does not follow the correct format and will not proceed
If I try to correct the Product Description it asks for an ASIN and rejects the ISBN which is all I have announcing it as the wrong format
And now when I go back and redescribe the issue the system just asks for an ASIN and rejects the ISBN as invalid
Frustrating

Attempting to update the book catalogue has become all but impossible since Amazon introduced its latest 'improvements'.
And now we are forced to use this new inventory page which makes updating existing stock a painful, convoluted experience.
