Slightly Confused - Amazon Inbound Lost Shipment - Reimbursed £0 Confused
Hi
Hope you are doing well. I was hoping some one can help guide me as I am slightly confused.
We sent a box of 61 units to Amazon. We printed the UPS labels via the Amazon portal, prepped the box and it was collected. The item arrived at the Amazon centre and was checked in. There after there was radio silence. After a while I checked the status and was still waiting to be received.
2 November 2024 Shipment created; 4 November 2024 In Transit; 5 November 2024 Delivered; 7 November 2024 Checked In.
The shipment had 0 items received so I waited till the 22nd November 2024 when I was allowed to open a case with support to investigate this further. After successfully proving ownership, their conclusion was that I am to be reimbursed. They updated the shipment with 61 "Units have been reimbursed" and I was able to track the reimbursement through the reports which had the reason "Lost: inbound".
In the report, this is where I am confused, it says Amount Per Unit £0.00; Amount Total £0.00; Quantity Reimbursed [Cash] 61; Quantity Reimbursed [Inventory] 0; Quantity Reimbursed [Total] 0.
I raised this with Amazon and they said it was inline with their policy. I don't understand what we received? Did Amazon lose 61 of my units in their possession and reimburse me £0? If so, how is this possible if it was lost in their possession?
Any assistance on this or insight would be greatly appreciated please.

Sorry to hear this.
Amazon now do absolutely anything they can (because they can) to avoid payment.
If I were you, I would cut to the chase and take them to the Small Claims Court without delay. If you do, your hair won't go grey while you fight them and it's by far the quickest way to get your funds.
Good luck.
