---------------------------------------------------
Hello,
As of April 4, 2025, your inventory that’s been stored over 270 days (aged sellable inventory) or your inventory that’s been deemed unfulfillable will be removed from our fulfilment centres.
To avoid auto-removal, you’ll need to do the following before April 4:
For aged sellable inventory (270+ days):
Review your at-risk inventory in Fulfilment by Amazon inventory.
Go to Seller Central settings, then select Fulfilment by Amazon in the drop-down menu.
Go to Automated fulfillable settings.
Choose one of the following removal options:
Disable
Return (processing may take up to 90 days)
Dispose (liquidation is available as a value recovery option, for eligible inventory)
For unfulfillable inventory:
Go to Inventory, then select Fulfilment by Amazon inventory.
Select Unfulfillable inventory from the drop-down menu.
Create a removal order.
If no action is taken, we may automatically dispose, donate, liquidate or return your inventory. If you’ve created a return order for Fulfilment by Amazon inventory in last six months, we’ll attempt to return the inventory to the same address you provided. Removal orders can’t be cancelled once created.
Yes we received the same yesterday. It doesn't provide much notice before coming into effect.
Am I under the understanding that we can opt to leave our inventory there if we 'disable'.
It's a very badly worded email, in my opinion because we had a right panic as there is still a lot of our items up FBA that has stopped selling since the cost of living crisis and we're slowly getting them back, as and when we can afford to.
I am hoping they don't suddenly come back after the 4th as it'll bankrupt us lol
So much gobbledegook!
Has anyone worked out what has actually changed from the current situation?
I'm concerned about 'your inventory that’s been stored over 270 days (aged sellable inventory)' being returned, I think this is new, isn't it ?
As opposed to the 'inventory that’s been deemed unfulfillable ' ie damaged/faulty.etc
We've had the latter returned to us automatically for a while, but not sellable items
Can anyone clarify please
Hi,
I believe you can opt out by choosing to "disable" the auto-removal setting.
Unfortunately, this is a poor worded email - perhaps for the right intention for sellers to take notice of.
hi. Apparently we have to remove our stock from their warehouse, they confirmed it. I don't know if it is a new policy but will be very bad for us.
What seems unclear to me is this: if I have aged inventory (270+ days) in the FBA warehouse with zero sales (option A), or if there are only a few units selling per month (option B), will Amazon automatically remove the remaining inventory despite the occasional sales?
If someone at Amazon happens to read my comment, could they please clarify whether this logistics update applies to option A or option B?
