New to Amazon FBA - Question regarding labels
Today, I have begun the process of listing some books in readiness to send to Amazon FBA.
I was under the impression that all I do is list the items, then create a shipment; package the books in boxes and send to Amazon.
But after looking into things, am I right in thinking that I need to print off some sort of label to go across the barcode of every book I am listing? I thought it was a case of just sending the books to Amazon as they are.
Do I need to do this with each book or can Amazon do this for me?
And if I have to do this myself, do I need a special printer? I imagine this process is pretty time consuming if each and every book or CD has to be stickered individually by me.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Cheers

You can commingle if the books already have barcodes but there are many cons at commingling as your books are mixed with other sellers books
If you choose not to commingle, each book will need labelling by you. Amazon will do it for you at the published cost, not sure how much, it’s all on the website.
You can use any printer but a laser printer is best. You can easily buy labels from a variety of sources, I use sheets of 27.
Expect to do some work when selling on Amazon. It’s not just a matter of sending your stuff and wait for the money to start rolling in.

If you can put your books in envelopes - and add the stickers on yourself. If you ask amazon to put on stickers I think they charge 20 pence per item. So dependant on the amount of items your sending your costs can rack up quite easily

On Manage FBA inventory, select “print labels” from the drop down menu.Use A4 label sheets either 21 or 27 up & print your FNSKU barcode labels, for books put them in polybags & label the bag, just make sure no other barcodes are visible. You do not need a laser printer, inkjet works fine.
