Keep getting charged for deactivated account 2 years later...

Please will SOMEONE at Amazon help me get out from this nightmare...

I just want to close my account, PLEASE. I keep getting charged on my credit card for storage of inventory that says is unavailable to dispose to send back to me. This is TWO full years later after deactivation that had no merit and they gave no reason for. Water under the bridge but please stop charging me!!! What do I need to do?!

Thank you for any help...

Do you have any performance notifications (such as IP infringement) that you haven't addressed? If so, you won't be able to create a removal order until those have been resolved.

It would be helpful if you'd post the communication you received from Amazon regarding the inventory and why it's unavailable for removal/disposal.

The reason for deactivation is always given in the notice Amazon sends.

As @Vernon indicates, you are stuck in Never Never Land with Amazon.

In addition to what they suggest, post the suspension notice after removing all personal information.

You most likely need to fix THAT before the pain stops.

Hello @Seller_oGvjADFQDnXrG,

Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.

If you choose to permanently close your account, please follow these steps prior to closing the account:

  • Fulfill any outstanding orders.
  • Wait 90 days after your last sale to ensure the A-to-z Guarantee claims period is honored.
  • Wait until you have a zero balance in your account (your next disbursement or charge date).
  • Resolve all of your transactions with buyers, including issuing any necessary refunds.
  • Confirm that your bank account information on file is up-to-date to receive a final payment.
  • Check your Performance notifications to make sure that all the reasons for your account's suspension have been resolved and your account is restored.

You can then navigate to Settings and click Account Info. In the Account Management section on the right hand side of the page, click Close Account.

I have included a help page below that provides additional detail on closing your selling account for your reference:

Close your seller account

Regards,
