Product Listing not showing - help?
Hello!
I have had such a headache getting my new book loaded as a listing, partially from errors, waiting and learning. Sore head! Anyway, trying to remain positive!
Can anyone help …
I have a live listing for our book but it isnt showing the product description (which I can see I have written and saved in the inventory)? Also, an Amazon Seller Case Help person said that the listing isnt ‘searchable’?
I have notice the ASIN: 1527298442 and EAN: 9781527298446 have a different last didgit - would this be causing the issue?
The listing is live, it is working and few people placed orders and I have posted, so its working it’s just:

No. An ASIN is Amazon’s own product ID number - it means nothing outside their catalogue. However, it’s usually a string of random letters and numbers. What you are calling the ASIN is actually the 10-digit version of the ISBN (which will have a different last digit from the 13-digit version)
The product listing is showing. It is the product description that isn’t, and that is because Amazon only treat your description as a “suggestion” which they may or may not accept. As I explained on your other thread, they take their details of books from Nielsen’s records, so you may have to ask Nielsen to add the description to their records and upload it on their next update to Amazon

Aww thank you … it was an Amazon Seller Case helper that said it wasn’t searchable, and I thought I could search it too - but because that is what they said, I believed them. Thank you for looking it up for me. Really really appreciated!
I have been asked to send in some attachments to try and get the product description showing - I will try the Neilson update too!
