Deactivated New seller - opened 2 accounts by mistake! Help!
Hi all. New to amazon seller.
I opened an account in jan 2020 but didn’t sell anything as everything went on hold due to coronavirus stock issue.
Now I’m in a position to sell, I opened a new account on amazon, forgetting I had already opened the other one in Jan.
Both accounts have been deactivated and I believe it’s because of the 2 accounts.
I’ve submitted an appeal POA on both accounts asking for the 2nd account to be closed and the first reactivated and that this was a genuine error.
I haven’t heard back yet. The phone team advised to set up a 3rd account as the other 2 have been deactivated but I’m not confident in this and think it could cause more problems.
Do you advise I do anything else or wait it out for a reply on POA? To confirm I have never sold on amazon and never got to the stage of selling products. I really hope my amazon days are not over before they even started!

Thanks for your reply. I can’t seem to do anything to the original account either as that has also been deactivated. But as far as I’m aware it was all ok and verified prior to my muck up. The only thing I’m not sure of is as there has been no activity since opening in Jan, it may have been deactivated because of that? Although I don’t seem to have any emails to that effect so not sure.

Thanks. I have just this evening had an email to say the original has been suspended due to a link with the new account not properly verified. So from her looks of it I need to sort the new ones verification? Hopefully I can with it deactivated?

I can’t seem to edit anything on there. I can only think it’s because I didn’t add my middle name perhaps

Bank account info says verified.
Under identify information it says ‘Your account has failed our verification process. Please see your email for additional information.’
I’m unable to amend anything. Would you suggest await POA response or do something else? My POA’s have been based around the 2nd account been opened in error and not required as opposed to a verification problem, as II hadn’t realised this was the case and even so, I don’t need that account open.

Thanks. Is there any way I can find out the actual issue of what wasn’t correct? At the moment I’m still guessing. Could be lack of middle name. Could be passport image wasn’t right etc. I would imagine guessing the wrong thing wouldn’t be advantageous!? Thanks
