Amazon - Quickbooks link

Hi all,

Does anybody out there use Quickbooks to link Amazon/Ebay sales. Quickbooks suggests that this software ‘automatically shares data between Amazon Marketplace and QuickBooks Online. Automate your accounting by connecting Amazon Marketplace and QuickBooks Online. Never manually enter invoices, financial events or stock details again. You can save up to 160+ hours per month’

I’m a FBM seller and currently have about 500 Amazon and 700 Ebay individual sales per month and the manual input into Xero is just so time consuming.

I’ve looked on various forums concerning this and such a mix of reviews, so not too sure if to take to leap away from Xero to QuickBooks but really do need to automate this process somehow.

Any feedback with this would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I used to use Quickbooks and had no issue with it. Unless something has changed i believe you need to use something like Link My Books to get the info out of Amazon and into Quickbooks. I assume you could just use Link My Books (or something similar) to get the data into Xero too.

Thanks Demel for the info - I’m having to move away from Xero as they don’t offer a Bill of Material facility. A lot of what I sell is a kit of various parts sold as one item.
I need a system that can handle Bills of Materials and the only viable option I’ve found is Quickbooks.

I very much doubt that Quickbooks itself will import the accounts data from Amazon etc.
More than likely, it will be using A2X, linkmybooks etc to do so.
Have you looked at the apps that are available with Quickbooks?
You will probably be limited in what you can actually use.

But if you only have 1200 or so transactions a month, why aren’t you just using the daily summaries etc to enter the information, rather than individual sales?
