International selling exchange rates
Hi,
I have started selling in europe now. Amazon has converted my listings to euros with the current exchnage rate.
But my question is what happens if the exchange rate changes? do my europe listing automaticly change with the exchange rate and keep in line with my “source” pricing on amazon uk?
Thanks
Linda

No, your prices will stay like this unless you change them yourself.
The initial prices are assigned when the listings are automatically transferred from your source Amazon marketplace, but they won’t keep updating to match the current exchange rate.

One word of advise. Have you considered the following in calculating your prices -
- EFN fees - there is a transfer fee for shipping your stock into Europe. Approx £2 per unit
- If you are PAN EU then there is no EFN but each country adopts local delivery charges. A parcel in the UK might be £1.97 where in France this can be 4.5 Euros (approx £4) !!
- Also the VAT rates are different in each country - Italy for example is 22 % VAT
