Feedback removal- banging head against a brick wall
Hello all.
Had a 1 star feedback left with comment ‘Not a True Story’
This was for a DVD I sold. I tried to request removal but automatically told not eligible for removal. It is clearly a product review. Seller support say they cannot remove and to go through feedback manager, which obviously I have done so round and round we go. Of course the polite message to buyer asking for removal and putting it on the product review section has been met with no response as expected. With so few sales on media products nowadays any negative feedback puts you at risk of deactivation.
Any ideas what to do here?

Not a lot, either try the MD (but tbh I wouldn’t for such feedback, its not like they’re saying it didn’t arrive or it arrived smashed to pieces, it just makes them look like an idiot)
I know it affects your ODR and your feedback rating, but I doubt many people even look at feedback and hopefully your ODR can take the hit.

same here - cant get a feedback removed
- even though we were reimbursed with a safe-t claim, so part of amazon backed us; and agrees we are not at fault/
managed to get it escalated to the leadership team - who just sent us the same reply as seller support instructing that we had to use the link in the feedback manager (which is not there and the pop out box says to reopen the case, click on the link and the case says it cannot be reopened).

Was it an FBA or FBM sale? I’ve had a similar experience recently with an FBA order that the customer not only put in a product review telling the world that I was selling a fake well known sports brand but also very kindly chucked an Product Authenticity complaint in too… I managed to get the feedback removed by opening a case with SS and reiterating their policy to them (numerous times) and i’m now battling the IP complaint

It was an FBM sale but like DVDGAMING_DIRECT1 I’m getting the same reply to use feedback manager to request removal when I have already done this several times.
