Fake COD Orders and Undeliverable Addresses Causing Significant Losses KSA

Hello Amazon FBA Sellers,

I’m posting here out of frustration and concern after experiencing what I believe might be targeted harassment on my Amazon FBA account.

Over the past two weeks, I’ve received multiple orders, all from buyers with suspicious names and undeliverable addresses, in particular European fake names. These orders are placed on a Cash on Delivery (COD) basis, meaning the buyers never paid upfront. Typically, these orders come in groups of 4 at a time from different accounts, each time its a new account with the same fake pattern.

So far, most of these orders 13 orders have been refunded to the buyers, and there is one more pending. Here's what’s happening:

Amazon is refunding these buyers in full, even though their addresses are undeliverable and they never paid for the products.

I’m being charged referral and delivery fees, which means I’m losing both my product and my money, yet I still get charged for the transaction.

My product is not being returned to me, even though it was never delivered in the first place.

The pattern of these orders is very concerning. They come at night in batches of four, and after 6-7 days, Amazon refunds them without verifying the issue.

I’ve repeatedly contacted Seller Support, but I keep getting generic responses. It’s been said that it’s not fraud due to the low number of refunds, but now I’m dealing with 13 refunded orders and another pending. This feels like a coordinated attack, possibly harassment.

I had to close my listing out of fear of more fraudulent orders, but I’m still seeing reserved orders coming through. This has become a nightmare, and now I feel stressed every time I receive a COD order.

These fraudulent orders are significantly affecting my business. Amazon’s system is not helping by continuing to refund these buyers, and I’m being charged for products that were never delivered.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? How did you resolve it?

I need Amazon to investigate this issue seriously, stop refunding these buyers, and help me recover my losses.

Any advice or shared experiences would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Hi @Seller_s0XuIchHo2vTc,

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums.

To start with, have you filed a Report Abuse for the orders impacted?

Please find here the steps to follow in case you haven't already done it

Regards,

Noor

sad to hear about this. Unfortunately it is the same case here. I have been constantly getting fake cod orders with European names in my ksa store and by looking at the address I can clearly see it’s a fake address and I will get an return due to address undeliverable but it almost seems like my hands are tied and have no other option here. I have previously raised a ticket to abuse team and as per them they have taken some action, however, it is happening again just after two weeks and I have raised again another ticket. I will keep you all posted with the results
