VAT Registration & Deactivated Account

I have a Amazon VAT question and could REALLY use help!!
I am a US company with FBA inventory in the United Kingdom marketplace. My account was deactivated because they are requiring a VAT registration number. However, when I go to the UK government website to register after filling out all the steps it tells me I don’t qualify and I do not need to register.

Has this happened to anyone else? Seller central is no help and I don’t know what to do
