Read onlyHi all, just cant get my head around this,, I have had a few customers lately who have purchased multiple copies of certain books in my inventory, yes i like the sale however take one example, customer buys three items same title, my postage charge nowadays mostlyL/L is £3.10, however the postage charge is divided into three, not really a problem however I have just tried to buy two identical items from a seller , and guess what trying to charge two lots of postage when both would easily go in one envelope, contacted the business seller who informed me cant do anything about this Amazon sets the postage charge, any ideas please
Depends on the setup of the business.
If they are on the individual selling plan - then amazon do indeed set the postage charge - though I can't recall if amazon do group postage together or charge on every single item.
If they are on the pro selling plan and have setup their own shipping templates - then there they can setup different postage models.
The seller could (as we do with items that have postage costs separate) is simply only include postage once. But sellers can choose to add on an additional amount for further weight or quantity.
That being said - there isn't a lot you can do. If the seller is choosing to charge this way - your choice is to buy...or not.
