Yodel Direct and Amazon

Looking for some help please.
I started using Yodel Direct because of problems with the Royal Mail strikes. Since sending with Yodel my VTR Valid Tracking Rate has plummeted !
Ive spoke to Amazon support and they say talk to Yodel about how to input Shipment details. I spoke to Yodel and they say its up to Amazon to update their services accepted !!
I have tried using YODEL at the drop down menu, and tried “other” then typing Yodel Direct. I have been using “other” then typing “Store to Door” (in the Delivery Service dropdown) which is the Yodel Direct service I use. For tracking number I am using the long number under the barcode on the shipping label.
Can anyone advise what I need to do to have these deliveries included in my VTR? OR how make them exempt?
Thanks

Have you looked at integrating it? Parcels2Go offer this with Yodel. I imagine Yodel themselves do but cannot say for certain as I don’t use their website.

I mean… you could dispatch it as RM franked/stamps so it is exempt but that is a lie…

I think you’re inputting it in wrong, this is why I used integrated with Yodel & that then I don’t manually input addresses.

This is what mine come through as, automatically dispatched & tracking via P2G. I do select the 2-3 day delivery. &our VTR is happy.

Hello @cuebalm,

This is Abella, I understand your concern is regarding the “Valid tracking rate”.

Thank you @HOSupplies @The_Little_Shop @JillyB1 for the inputs.

To maintain a healthy Valid tracking rate (VTR):
• Purchase shipping labels through Amazon’s Buy Shipping services.
• Choose carriers from the drop-down menu that are integrated with Amazon, listed below. These carriers provide real-time tracking status to Amazon.
• Verify that the carrier name, shipping service, and tracking ID are entered correctly and belong to the same carrier.
• Confirm, and update if necessary, the tracking information before the carrier delivers the package. If the tracking information is confirmed or updated after the package is delivered, that means the customer was not able to track the order. This is not useful to the customer and it will impact your VTR metric.
• Tracking IDs need to have at least one carrier scan to be valid.

Please refer to the policy for further understanding Valid Tracking Rate.

As correctly mentioned by @JillyB1 please follow the above steps to maintain the Valid tracking rate.

Please contact Support Team if you need further assistance.

Kindly keep up posted if you have further queries, we would be more than happy to help you.

Regards,
Abella.
