Running down old stock before sending new stock help SKU?

Hi, I have a new label for my product so want to sell the 93 units before I send the new ones in to amazon for FBA.

Amazon want another 160 products immediately so my worry is the old and new labels will be mixed.

How can I manage a new shipment of new labels so that the old ones sell first?

Regards

In theory - if a consumer or supply chain partner is expected to distinguish new or changed products from previous/current products then a new EAN/ASIN is required.

You won't be able to run down the existing stock as amazon expect there to be a certain number of weeks worth of stock in FBA. I think the only outlier would be products with a use by date.

When you say it has a new label though - is the product itself materially different in anyway?

What do you mean by "Amazon want 160"?

As you a vendor or is this just a restocking suggestion?

If you are a vendor, I can't respond but if you are just a normal seller, then all you need to do is to give the new label a new sku but keep the same ASIN.

This does mean that stock will be mixed in the FCs and potentially a customer ordering 2 may get 1 of each but unless you are prepared to run down to old label completely before replenishing, it is unavoidable.
