UPC vs. FNSKU - which do I use?

Hi All,

Am new to Amazon FBA therefore really appreciate your help.

Which do I use, FNSKU or UPC? (to stick directly on my products prior to sending to Amazon FC)
Where do I create FNSKU barcodes?

FNSKU Labels are the product labels that are generated when you create a shipping plan these are the individual products labels attached / stickered to the outside each individual product. The UPC is the Same as an EAN/GTIN is the products manufacturer bar code not all products have these but these are usually the retail bar codes on products

Here’s an example when you create your FBA shipping plan , under Label products there will be a tab to generate a PDF to print the FNSKU / Product labels, You can select the label type to match what arrangement you have.

Use FNSKU (you can print them without creating a shipping plan) & cover any EAN label with them & select NOT Comingled.

So from what I read if I use a FNSKU label, I don’t need a UPC code?

And on a product where there is a UPC code i.e. the manufacturer code, I just stick the FNSKU on top of the already existing UPC?
