Amazon buyers are waiting for Black Friday week to start in a couple of weeks.
I suggest you cut back on your expenses if you are advertising as it may not be cost effective for the next couple of weeks. People might be adding your items to their wish list rather than basket to see what discount you’re going to offer in the week.
Spend this quiet time on Amazon working on building your other channels as they tend to offer more stable income particularly if you have your own website.

Have you increased items listed? Started selling on other platforms?
Or just stood still and watched your sales drop? Gone are the boom days of Amazon and eBay. You have to work even harder now. I make my own goods but all of my costs have got up by 20% and my sales are less and less. But you have to fight for it now.
Its tough out here - I read this morning that New look are closing 100 stores now. And regarding the online world - shoppers are spending less (or making do with chinese 99p free delivery goods lol) because of uncertainty in the future (brexit ect). Waiting for big sales from silly Black Friday.
You also have to look at the stores that are booming, Primark, Ikea, lower cost fast food stores. Aldi, Lidl. Iceland. Why? because people who are wanting to spend and but have less money are going to the cheap places.
Good luck I hope you find a breakthrough. We as online sellers can never rest on our laurels or rely on out best sellers

It was reported Yesterday that the big traders only had a 0.1% increase in sales in the Golden Quarter on a comparable basis in October from the year before. Demand was mainly dampened by continued econnomic uncertainty and the anticipation for the deep discounting ahead especially now Black Friday weekend has become such a permanent feature. Also the Hot Summer, Halloween and Bonfire Night didn’t help either.

Our sales have dropped significantly as well, despite the perfect metrics. Some big businesses are almost always getting the buy box now, even when their prices are much higher. The first level of support has no answers and they are a barrier that we cannot cross so we just don’t know what we could do to make things better.

We are down from 30+ sales a day to around 10 a day same period last year… so your reduction sounds similar to ours

We have the same problem. We have been copied by the Chinese who are selling them via FBA. We haven’t got a chance unless we join them and send stock to Amazon instead of selling independently.

Yeah man, our sales were like 100 then today its 8… and people say amazon don;t throttle.

We have the same reduction in sales; in the last month we have dropped by almost 60%. Other channels are OK.
I hope they pick us soon, otherwise not sure what to do?
Good luck guys.

Last year our Amazon sales out stripped eBay 6:1
Today I woke up to one order on Amazon for 3 items… and that’s it so far (it’s now 16:30).
Meanwhile eBay - 27 items sold today… Etsy (where we have only a handful of items) - 9 items…
Amazon is laughable these days.
