Fees explained simply
I wanted a simple explanation of the current Amazon UK fees after not selling for a few years now.
I asked seller support but it was a bit of a vague answer. I am selling used DVD’s.
What they said was:
15.3% referral fee - is this the cost of product only and not the shipping cost ie. is the shipping cost not relevant to this fee so if I sell a DVD for £10, I pay 15.3% of the £10?
Closing fee of 0.50 - Ok but this page https://sellercentral.amazon.co.uk/gp/help/help.html?itemID=H78LW99F4XF3Z38&language=en_GB&ref=id_H78LW99F4XF3Z38_cont_200336920 mentions a fee of £0.75. Is this in addition to the £0.50 or do I ignore that link and just go with the £0.50?
Thanks for any advice.

Not sure on the closing fees as we sell in different categories but I can tell you the referral fee is on the total including shipping costs

Yes, it’s a per-item sold fee of £0.75 but it is only charged if you are on the Individual Selling Plan, for the Professional Selling Plan there is no per-item fee.
