Customer received the item and wants a refund

Hello,

Quick question. A customer purchased an item from us,We sent it to him and the item got delivered on the 28th of March. Today (ten days later),He is saying that he never got the item and want to be refunded.
We got a proof of delivery sign by him, but I guess we still need to refund him, right?

Thanks,
R.Memfy

Have you actually got his signature on delivery? Which carrier did you use?

No, not immediately. If you are certain it has been delivered and all the tracking shows that then you need to contact the customer and link to the tracking details. If he still says not received then say you will need to ask Fedex to investigate as their system shows as delivered etc.etc.
Sadly there are too many customers these days try it on, for a refund.
I doubt it is the customer who has signed as I am not aware of any carriers taking signatures since the pandemic, though the courier does sometimes sign as Covid 19 or similar.

same thing is with us as well, we have photo proof and signature proof but they ask for refund. They ask we didn’t received parcel.

my husband bought an Apple Watch last week on Amazon.
Prior to delivery he was texted a code, which he had to show to the Amazon driver on receipt on the item, who recorded it.
I’m guessing this is instead of taking a signature, I thought it was a good idea

I had to put a code in which Amazon emailed to me to receive my parcel today.

Sadly within the hour it went back, it arrived damaged!!

No, no, no . . …

This was a friend’s template, and it works . . .

This order (ORDER NUMBER) was shipped on SHIP DATE by COURIER NAME & SERVICE with Tracking Number TRACKING NUMBER and was delivered to (Add In = see below) the named recipient - NAME HERE - on DELIVERY DATE at TIME.
The confirmation of the delivery can be viewed at DIRECT LINK TO WEBSITE TRACKING RESULT.

I hope it helps though before Covid it’d also have referred to the signature - see below…
Send it as your reply to the buyer then as the appeal for any A-Z.

“delivered to the named recipient” this may need to be edited if the receiving Name is different.

Good Luck.

This is a joke for sellers, 'SC’amazon it really is. A Court would have a field day with the scams and money freely refunded to literally screw sellers. Order from Amazon directly, do the same thing and see if they refund THEIR money so freely. Its wrong and completely out of order.
