Hello everyone
I am a tiny seller with just two sales I think this month or at best in the past few weeks. I have a wee £31 in my account and even that is under "deferred"
It says "Delivery Date Policy"
What is this all about please.
One of my fulfillment is with amazon and one was seller fulfilled.
I have opened a case but predictably a most long-winded response copy and paste of amazon website which I am struggling to figure out what applies to me.
Any similar experience? And what steps do I take to have this issue fixed, please?
Many thanks for your time

this page covers it all in detail and is quite clear on how it works.
But basically, funds are reserved, in the main, until 7 days after the last estimated delivery date of an order.

We are all under this policy now, and nothing you can do about it. Just as an aside, if you have so few sales per month, yet you say you have items in FBA - surely you must have long-term storage charges for those items in FBA ?
And what happens if tracking never shows delivered. Would we never get paid?

You’re talking about tracking now. The dd+7 refers to the latest estimated delivery date.
Irregardless of tracking (which some orders might not even have) they will still have a last estimated delivery date.
So sorry my mistake, I was not clear. I was not discussing tracking. The DD+7 means that amazon would pay only after delivery of unit. Or this is my understanding.
So this leads me to the question, what happens if the tracking never gets updated to delivered.
So you see, I am not discussing tracking per say.
to be clear.
DD+7 is ONLY concerned with the last estimated delivery date amazon provide when the order is placed. This is only based on your handling plus shipping times added together.
If you ship tracked I believe it might trigger as delivered but if it never gets tracked as delivered it would simply trigger based on the last estimated delivery daye
Many thanks.
So this has nothing to do with whether the item is delivered or not. Even if tracking fails and there is no evidence of delivery, we will still get paid after 7 days. Ok.
Anyway I wrote to the team directly by email and they have extended this policy to September 2025. They said that this should be activated within 48 hours.
I then sent in Case ID to the US team, Ajassy's team, to demonstrate how our seller support couldn't even get the basics right.
