How / where to submit a Plan of Action for deactivated ASIN

Hi all,

I had a deactivated ASIN due to product authenticity issue and the invoice provided by the manufacturer has not met with Amazon’s requirement. I eventually gave up submitting and have deleted the ASIN.

I now wanted to restore my account health as it’s been showing account at risk. I have submitted the plan of action several times via “submit appeal” section. However I keep receiving the same responses from Amazon stating the information is not sufficient to reinstate the ASIN which I think they did not even read the document and just copy and paste the reply.

Can anyone advice how can I submit the Plan of Action document correctly in order to restore my account health? Thank you.

I’m assuming you are still happily selling otherwise? If so, getting the appeal accepted will not change anything. If you have decided to not sell the ASIN and your appeal is basically “i’m sorry, i was wrong” then that won’t remove the defect and it’ll remain for the 6 months.

If you account is only ‘At Risk’ you do not need to send a POA.
If you have removed the ASIN and do not want to reinstate it then you will be fine - but the violation will remain on your account health for 180 days anyway and then will drop off - and they do disappear eventually !.

Hello @Vinci_Edwin

I am Adan from Amazon and I am here to assist you.

I understand your concern is about a deactivated listing.

Could you kindly share the original performance notification you have received about listing deactivation? It Will help us identify the issue and assist you in a better way.

Meanwhile you can consider below mentioned instructions in order to construct a effective Plan Of Action.

Copies of invoices or receipts from your supplier issued in the last 365 days for enforced ASIN.

These documents should reflect your sales volume during the last 365 days.

Please include contact information for your supplier, including name, phone number, address, and website. We will maintain the confidentiality of your supplier contact information.

You may remove pricing information, but the rest of the document must be visible. For ease of our review, you may highlight or circle the ASIN under review.

The root cause that led to the complaints about the authenticity of your items.

The actions you have taken to resolve the complaints about the authenticity of your items.

The steps you have taken to prevent future complaints about the authenticity of your items.

Sourcing: Are you sourcing the product from a trusted supplier?

Listing: Is the product accurately described on Amazon? Have you ensured that there is no ambiguity and the customer is well informed?

Packaging: Is the product in its original packaging as listed on Amazon?

Shipping: Have you taken all appropriate steps and quality checks to ensure that the product is stored, packed, and shipped appropriately?

Be as specific as possible in your plan and do not limit your plan to issues with specific orders.

Regards,
Adan
