Parent-Child Listing Creation Problem
I am trying to add parent-child listings of clothing products on Amazon. But, I am unable to do so with both ways directly on website and via tempelate file. I tried to add a list via template file upload method but it sayd that Parent list does not exist, even though I was creating a new parent list. How It can appear before creating. One parent-child listings I created on website successfully but as soon as I uploaded pictures, every child list got seperated. I tried to gather them via template file upload method but nothing happened just errors. I contacted many times to seller central but all in vain.
Do anyone else have this problem? If anyone has solution for thsi, kindly tell me.
Kind Regards

First of all make sure you don’t have an existing parent for the current products.
the best way is to create this using an upload.
Are you sing existing products or are you creating new products?
You can find the answers to many of your problems when you do the upload by checking that all of the number of lines have accepted. If not then just look at the error report and this will tell you if anything is missing.
Consistency is the key here to ensure that all of your colours parent IDs and child variations are correct. I have lots of issues at first and sometimes it could be simple as copying a space or using a variety of lower and uppercase letters in the code and not being totally consistent.
Using a spreadsheet to define most of the stuff involves a lot of copying and pasting.
Sometimes creating the uploads will not put the information in simultaneously and it is not instant. Technically everything in the Amazon cataologue is a relational database and your information has to be absolutely spot on for it to ensure the products are related. There are then other databases that talk to each other and again this is not done at the same time. you won’t fully know if anything is fine until around 24 hours after you have completed the work.
The reason for separations is often down to the brand name not being exact and consistent from the parent and the child variations. I had huge issues when I purely extended my brand name and registered it. I had to go back to all of my original listings and change them, some didn’t allow the change and I had to create new child variations for them to work.
