Received intellectual property complaint
I am hoping a Mod can get a set of eyes on IP complaint issue (received without a test buy)
@Atlas_Amazon
We sell branded compatible items. Meaning our items are made to work with another brand's products.
In this case it is necessary to reference the other brand's name and relevant model number in order to describe what the product is. This falls under fair use of IP. We are not claiming that the product is made by the OEM brand. It is very clear throughout the detail page that this is our branded product, which is made to work with another brand's product. We use our own pictures, descriptions, etc.
Amazon's policy on these products is seen below, Section 6 (c)

The suggested avenue for appealing the complaint is extremely simplified. It asks us if we are a drop shipper (we are not), and the only other relevant piece of information we can submit is a trademark registration number (no text field for further explanation of the issue).
Obviously when we submit the trademark number for OUR brand with no context, the team in charge sees that it doesn't match the brand that the IP complaint is regarding and immediately rejects the appeal.
We've opened a separate case to explain the issue and hopefully escalate it to where it needs to go, but they are already suggesting that we instead appeal it through that limited channel where we cannot offer any explanation of the issue.
Having been down this road before, we know this is probably going be a very prolonged and frustrating process of getting through to someone that is willing to read and understand that we are not actually infringing on this brand's IP.
Is there a better way for us to approach this issue?

"We sell branded compatible items. Meaning our items are made to work with another brand's products."
Did you have the wording the way Amazon says it must be used?
The last time I checked, this was their required order --
Your Product’s Brand Name + Product Name + "for"/”compatible with”/”fits”/”intended for” + Brand of Main Product + Main Product Name + other product title elements, if applicable

Honestly I have been going through same problem since February 2025 and it seems no one is actually paying attention. I have written POA up to 50 times now and I get same responses . I have submitted communication mails. Registration number , Letters of authorizations, invoices of over 8years ago but no way out. I have called customer support who gives me advice on what I should include in my POA but still is rejected.
I have been selling on amazon for over 10years now and hoping that could help since our parts are clean from our warehouse and we have a good relationship but our appeal is not considered . I really need help and I wish amazon can pay attention and help to resolve this.
Thank you for submitting your appeal. We reviewed your appeal but are unable to accept it at this time as it does not have enough information. Your account remains at risk of deactivation. Please include the missing information listed below in your appeal:
Complaint ID: 16983452131
-- Details on the actions you have taken to resolve all outstanding infringement violations in the initial notice.
-- Detailed steps you have implemented that will prevent you from repeating the same infringement violation in the future.
-- Evidence or examples that demonstrate your account is compliant with our Intellectual Property policy.

Hi @Seller_8UAVG2gAoZMlv
Thank you for your post. I've received the cases and complaint ID and agree that this may be a harder appeal process through the traditional IP Infringement appeal process since you mention this is a compatible product.
I am going to help escalate this just need one thing clarified.
You mentioned in case 17694353691
"In Amazon Intellectual Property policy for sellers, it says the product must be titled in this format for such products:
Title format for branded compatible products
"[Your Product's Brand Name] + [Product Name] + "for"/''compatible with''/''fits''/''intended for'' + [Brand of Main Product] + [Main Product Name] + (other product title elements, if applicable)."
I've looked over the IP policy for sellers but it does not state this and curious to see where you got this from. Was this from a previous seller support case or help page?
I'll use this in the appeal process once I receive updates. Thank you.
Sandy
