Why beginning balance is not zero?

Amazon withdraw the balance from my credit card but why is this amount going on next Beginning balance?. every time amazon withdraw the money and then that amount goes to my beginning balance. If its reserved amount for amazon then when will it be zero? It seems like I already paying twice in every time. I guess already so much amount have been

paid to amazon.

After paying the balance the beginning balance should start from Zero.

Cant Understand the system. Already opened few case about this but no response from Amazon.

Hello @Seller_yNqdgFBdoCdyP,

Thank you for posting your inquiry to the Forums.

The beginning balance is the amount carried forward from the previous settlement period. You can review the orders and fees that are included in the settlement period using the Transaction View on the payments dashboard.

Please note that as a normal part of selling on Amazon, you may see funds in the Account level reserve section of the Statement View tab on your Payments report. It’s the amount of money that is reserved to ensure that you have enough funds to fulfill any financial obligations, such as refunds, claims, or chargebacks.

I hope this helps. Please feel free to update with the case ID numbers that you opened with support if you still need additional assistance and I can take a look.

Regards,

Quincy_Amazon

Are you doing a HUGE amount of advertising? Why was there a MINUS $380 (about) there? Was it a big return or ads?

Your expenses are eating you alive.

Hi @khm_traders, I also have the same problem. I sent 5 cases. Did they solve your problem?
