Brand Approval with a Receipt from a Home depot and a Supporting Documents from the buyer

Good day everyone. Please help me with this issue. the product was approved last May for product listing asking for new asin. then when the product arrived at the Amazon warehouse the weight of the package exceeded and we sent a dispute for that amazon considered the issues the next problem is that Amazon is now asking for brand approval and we sent it twice along with the Home Depot receipt but the problem on our receipt is the name of the buyer is not indicated on that but the other details are matched to the premium account(HOME DEPOT) which the product has been processed to purchase. the PDF file of the invoice the online receipt of the product and the purchase history from the app has linked only the name of the buyer on the PDF invoice. we sent approval along with the documents and supporting docs but still, we are at risk of deactivation. What else can we do to fix this issue please help. Thank you

A receipt is not acceptable. What Amazon wants is an invoice from a verifiable supplier (Home Depot is not a supplier). Amazon ay have approved you, but whatever the brand is you bought from Home Depot does not. You are expected to have all the legitimate documentation when asked.

You have a brand approval? That means a written "Letter of Authorization" from that brand allowing you to sell on Amazon? And the brand confirmed you that HOME DEPOT is an "official distributor" of their brand?

" we sent it twice along with the Home Depot receipt"

I'll be a bit more direct than @Seller_OvL8C4BJWiuS9 and @Seller_rI7BZIczK8iAC who were quite nice. You SHOULD already be suspended.

Just start writing your 'please help with my Section 3 suspension' letter now.

It will save you the time later when you get the notice.

YOU are the perfect example of a rookie seller begging for a suspension at this time.

HINT #1 -- SELLER U for the next month or two

HINT #2 -- VACATION MODE until you at least grasp the concept of how Amazon works.

For any rookies out there reading this, it is a near perfect example of how to get suspended on Amazon IMMEDIATELY.

DO YOU have an LOA from the brand allowing you to sell on here?

DID YOU source from AUTHORIZED wholesale sources that your rep at the brand says are OK.

NOTE the verification from the brand that the source is legitimate and authorized, NOT one of those touted on TikTok and YouTube as having "thousands of brands and products".

If you have watched any YouTube or TikTok videos FORGET everything you saw there.

Spend hours/days on Seller U and read the Forum to see all the really creative ways rookies find to get suspended by ignoring the advice above!

Sourcing

This is from @bryce_amazon and I have added some bold type for emphasis!

From @bryce_amazon:

Leave a thumbs up or a thumbs down to let me know if you find this helpful (or not)!

As an Amazon seller, it's crucial to understand the platform's policies and requirements when it comes to sourcing and selling products. Whether you're selling branded products from a third party or your own private label items, there are several guidelines you need to be aware of.

1. Validate Your Suppliers: Ensure that the suppliers you purchase from are legitimate and authorized to sell the branded products you intend to offer. This may involve checking their business licenses, brand authorization letters, business bureau ratings, and other credibility indicators.

2. Build Relationships with Brands: For certain branded products, you may need explicit permission from the brand owner to sell on Amazon. Take the time to establish a relationship with relevant brands and understand their specific requirements.

3. Retain Business Invoices: Amazon may request documentation to prove the authenticity of your products. Maintain invoices from your suppliers that include details like their contact information, an itemized list of products, and the purchase dates.

4. Understand Amazon's Dropshipping Policy: If you plan to use a dropshipping model, make sure you comply with Amazon's dropshipping policy. This includes validating your dropshipping suppliers, formalizing the relationship with a service level agreement, and properly identifying yourself as the seller on all customer-facing materials.

5. Auctions: Auctions or auction style environments are not considered valid sources of supply. Reselling products that are intended for destruction disposal or otherwise designated as unsellable by the manufacturer, supplier, vendor, or retailer is strictly prohibited on Amazon.

Ultimately, it's your responsibility as an Amazon seller to ensure that the products you offer comply with all applicable laws and regulations, are authorized for sale or resale, and do not infringe on intellectual property rights. By following these guidelines, you can help protect your business and maintain a successful presence on the Amazon marketplace.

Let me know in the comments how you source your inventory!”

the problem on our receipt is the name of the buyer

No, the problem is that it is a RECEIPT. Amazon requires an INVOICE from an authorized DISTRIBUTOR.

I doubt that you have actual approval from the brand; they would have told you where to purchase your inventory, and it would not have been at Home Depot, as that is a retail store, not a wholesaler (yes, you can make tax-free purchases there, but it's for business use, not really for resale).

If you somehow manage to survive this, then put your account on Vacation mode, go through Seller U, and spend at least a week (two is better) reading the forums. paying special attention to threads like "Section 3", "Counterfeit", "Suspended", etc.
