Read onlyHello, can you please explain to me how Amazon does the measuring of the product: My package dimension is 9x9x30 and package weight around 0,31 kg. I raise a case to amazon, and I got this answers: Hello from Amazon selling partner support,
I'm writing to you in regard to your inquiry regarding the dimensions and FBA fee updated on the ASIN ...
We have investigated the listing and the listing have the following dimensions.
Dimensions: 30 x 8.99 x 8.99 cm,
Weight: 0.31 kg
We have contacted our internal team for information regarding your issue. On the next day, I got another email as follows:
We've confirmed new measurements for ..., as noted below and they updated the wrong dimensions:
* Length: 30 cm
* Width: 29.79 cm
* Height: 9.09 cm
* Weight: 0.42 kg
The shipping weight is calculated based on the item’s unit weight or dimensional weight, and the shipping weight is used to calculate FBA fulfillment fees.
My item can never be of this width, it has exact widht of 8.99. Problem not only with amazon fees, i ordered a test sample, the package is very big and unused space. Just not right. I contact the seller support again, and said they cannot renmeasure because the logistic department have automated measuing system, still i send image as proof, but still no response. Anyone to explain to me that?
