Account has been deactivated - retail invoices

I have toy collectables shop, I used to get my stoke form amazon.com, amazon.uk.co and other known online marketplaces and sell on amazon.ae.

Recently my amazon account has been deactivated (Authenticity Customer Complaints), and they requested the supplier invoices.

I have the invoices, but these invoices do not fit their requirements, because they need distributor invoices and retail invoices not accepted.

Also, I understand now that I cannot add any listing without having its invoice that meet the amazon requirements.

My question, could I appeal by admitting that I do not have the invoices meet their requirements for these ASIN. with POA shows I understand now all my listing should have suppliers (distributor) invoices.

Is this appeal will work?

Or this mistake (by adding listing covered by retail invoices only) will be the end and no value to keep submitting appeals.

Any advice and suggestions will be greatly appreciated

yes youre only possible way back will be a strong poa as youre invoices/receipts will never be accepted have you written one? if so post here for everyone to advise/help amend
it should be in the format of 3 clear sections
1-WHY you did what you did
2 what you have put into place immediately
3- what you will put in place going forward to ensure the same thing doesent happen in the future

keep it short with bullet points and preferably with links to policies broken and also no emotional content

Yes, an appeal admitting you did wrong can be accepted under certain conditions.

1st Paragraph

Root cause - Firstly explain clearly the problem and why you did not have valid invoices from reputable suppliers/wholesalers.

2nd Paragraph

Actions -You must delete all inventory where you have no valid invoices and mention you have done this.

Preventative measures in place –

Be able to show valid invoices and new inventory from reputable sources. Min quantity of 10 per item.

3rd Paragraph – Future actions to put in place ensuring trouble free selling.

Quote the relevant Amazon guidelines and policies that you have read and now understand.

You can post your appeal here before sending it to Amazon, if you would like further help. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hello @GeeksStore_uae,

After reviewing the information provided I understand that you want suggestions on how to activate your account.

As you mentioned you will not be able to provide invoices. A strong plan of action would be enough to get your account reactivated. But before proceeding with the Plan of action mention the reason about why you do not have invoices.

As per Amazon polices you need to have all the necessary documents of the products before you list them on Amazon. Provide a Plan of action which also includes the steps which you would follow to make sure you have all the necessary documents before listing the products.

Below are some points which will help you to construct an effective plan of action:

Root cause:

  • Reason for which you do not have invoices to provide?
  • When you did not had the correct documents why did you list those products?

Corrective Measure:

Now that you are aware that you need to have invoices what steps you would take to resolve the issue immediately.

Preventive Measure:

  • How will you verify that you are procuring the products from the authentic supplier?
  • What proactive steps will you take to ensure items are sourced from reliable suppliers?
  • How will you ensure Amazon that you will sell only the products where you have authorization to sell?

You can only send .pdf, .jpg, .png, or .gif files. These documents must be authentic and unaltered.

Good Luck,
Dhoni

This template might help you. Once you have composed your POA, people here will be happy to review and advise

Account Suspension

Any appeal should be:

  • Concise and contrite
  • Explain what went wrong and why? An apology is not sufficient.
  • Explain why you did what you did.
  • Don’t write a speech. Provide detail but keep it short.
  • Use keywords such as Why? What? How?
  • Add references to relevant Amazon policies you have consulted.
  • Write in the “present tense”, ie I have done, not “I will do”

Some of the examples mentioned below will probably be appropriate to your case, as they are the main reasons for issues. These are not an exhaustive list, they are just some of the most common reasons requiring a POA.

Why did you do something? (the root cause of the problem)

For example:

  • Why did you sell goods from a supplier that was not acceptable to Amazon?
  • Why did you sell goods in new condition?
  • Why did you not despatch orders on time?
  • Why did you sell inauthentic goods?
  • Why did you sell goods that were not compliant to your marketplace?
  • Why did you not read and understand the basics of selling on the Seller University?
  • Why did you misuse or manipulate feedback, ratings or reviews?
  • Why did you misuse the search and browse facility?

What have you done about the problem? (what action have you taken now)

For example:

  • What steps have you taken to remove any feedback, ratings, review conflicts?
  • What steps have you taken to secure a credible supply chain?
  • What documentation have you acquired in support of your supply chain?
  • What actions have you taken to address any affected listings?
  • What actions have you taken to address any outstanding orders?
  • What actions have you taken to address your shipping option?
  • What actions have you taken to address buyer complaints?
  • What actions have you taken to ensure your goods are compliant to your marketplace?
  • What actions have you taken to ensure a “back up plan” is now in operation?
  • What actions have you taken to stop misuse of the search and browse facilities?
  • What actions have you taken to delete any affected listings?
  • What relevant Amazon policies have you consulted?

How will you move forward? ( how will you ensure any future problems are dealt with)

For example:

  • How will you ensure you only sell goods that are permitted to be sold on Amazon?
  • How will you ensure that any problems that occur will be dealt with in a timely manner?
  • How will you address any customer concerns or queries?
  • How will your business function in the event that you or your staff are incapacitated?
  • How you ensure all future listings are compliant to your marketplace?
  • How will you prevent feedback, rating, review, misuse in the future?
  • How will you prevent search and browse being misused in the future?
