Probably not the same ones you do

Having the VTR page actually displaying the current VTR requirements would be a help! As would clear and specific details around how tracking numbers are validated behind the scenes - or are sellers just supposed to cross our fingers while ignoring warning emails about our low VTRs?

Making the signup page more informative around the different selling plans and account types - too many people “accidently” signing up for the professional plan, or thinking that they’re signing up as a sole trader because they picked individual (and lets not get into the individual account/selling plan confusion)

Having mods that know how the VTR is calculated (or at least copying and pasting from a place that knows how the VTR is calculated) - too many mods on here giving out incorrect information!

Having Amazon stopping telling customers to claim a refund if an order wasn’t scanned on delivery - currently Royal Mail only scan about 70% or less of their delivery confirmation packages, but actually deliver about 99% of them on time, meaning Amazon is telling 30% of customers to claim a refund for no reason!

Having seller support that actually know what they are talking about and don’t just copy/paste help pages relating to your question - to be honest I consider it lucky if its related to my question!

Too many errors on the catalogue that can’t be fixed by actual sellers because the “brand owner” (who in Amazon’s eyes is not actually the person who owns the brand but a random seller who made the listing 10 years ago and no longer sells here) controls the listing, I can’t even get a spelling mistake fixed, yet somehow listings manage to be changed from one product into a completely different product. It seems like one rule for some people, and a completely different rule for others!

Amazon like unique barcodes - but Amazon need to understand the world does not operate that way, only allowing 1 product per barcode is actually bloating your catalogue with duplicate products - especially in the greeting card industry.

A-Z and the rules around signatures. The policy is vague. It suggests a signature will be used if delivery can’t be proven from other means. But couriers in the main do not take signatures, including amazon.

And how is a signature proof yet a photo/GPS not?

Time moves on, signatures are old hat, time amazon understood that.

With disbursements, can we please have a meaningful reason for deductions instead of “other.”

When can we have human beings as customer support and not robotic email templates and people on the other end who just do not help.

Can. Worms. Open.

Just in general, don’t scare the living daylights out of us by announcing new hoops or policies that have had little thought put into them and clearly show that whomever came up with it, has never run a business or actually used Amazon’s seller tools to sell on here. It’s stressful enough as it is.

If you’re moving the goal posts, then announce well in advance, give CLEAR unambiguous information and make sure both the policy page has been updated and seller support have been updated with the CORRECT information.

And finally (though like many, could probably fill pages and pages), we want better tools. Let us merge Letter dispatched orders to the same address. Let us ‘open’ items in bulk without using spreadsheets, when you can already close them in bulk. Let us change custom options, by simply changing the 1 template those listings use, instead of having to re-apply the template if you change something (say the prices) individually to each listing one by one.

And everything else said above!

Having the links directly to the required page or report from the search bar in on the dashboard. Some you cannot add to favourites. Small & Light is one example.

Instead of the link being the top result you have to open several pages to get to find the add page, unless you have a photographic memory and can remember where everything contained within Amazon’s billions of pages. I have memory issues so find it hard to locate certain pages that are key for sellers (IMO)

Having the link, would mean those who just want the link have it and those who want to read all out how too can continue to read.
