Hazmat exemption sheet for products without harmful chemicals
Has anyone experience of filling out these exemption sheets, particularly the section, “Full ingredients list, with percentages if available.”
I’m happy that I’ve got all the ingredients in there, it’s the format and way of presentation that I’m more concerned about.
Also, with regard to timeframes, I uploaded one sheet on Thursday and I understand it takes four days to review, but on uploading further sheets this morning, I note the one uploaded on Thursday now details, “Not classified: Unable to classify”. There are no actions associated to this and I haven’t heard anything back, so I’m now unsure if I should keep waiting, or escalate with a view to getting further information?

I have only ever had to upload SDS never an excemption sheet but time frames at them moment mean nothing really expect a couple of weeks to a month on the outside to be safe

I’ve literally tried this once and gave up, as I just couldn’t get anywhere with them.
No doubt I could have got it through eventually, but for a new product I was going to try, it just wasn’t worth the effort.
But good luck with it.
