Yet another crazy idea.
Extended Returns information: For the 2024 holiday season, most items purchased between November 1 and December 25, 2024 can be returned until January 31, 2025
At the very least certain categories should have an exemption. For example if someone buys a hair dryer & they use it to dry their hair once & send it back then they can't drier their hair with again.
However if someone reads a book from cover to cover & sends it back then they can't read it again, but people who read the same book more than once surely must be in a minority.
Another policy implemented without thought!
They've done this for several years now - nothing new !
Hello @Seller_GPLxAbyNPI33I,
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the Extended Returns Window policy.
At Amazon, we strive to be Earth's most customer-centric company, and this policy aims to provide flexibility during the busy holiday season. While it applies across categories, it's designed to balance customer satisfaction with seller considerations.
We encourage sellers to focus on providing great products and service, which often leads to fewer returns.
As mentioned by @Seller_ZVAz3d5lZuGid, this has been applied over several years already, and it has worked well. All feedback is really appreciated.
Regards,
Angie 🪴
