Hello Amazon Seller Community,
I am facing an issue with updating the Item Package Quantity for my ASIN B0DT7M857D. The actual item package quantity is 3, and buyers receive 3 units, but the PDP incorrectly states 1 pack. This discrepancy misleads customers and could lead to returns, complaints, and a poor shopping experience.
Despite multiple cases with Seller Support, Amazon refuses to update the attribute, citing static ASIN rules. Their response suggests creating a new ASIN, but this is not a viable solution as:
The ASIN has strong ratings and reviews that will be lost.
My EAN is tied to this ASIN, preventing new listing creation.
A significant inventory is already at FBA warehouses, and relabeling would be inefficient and costly.
Not allowing this correction is harming both customer trust and seller reputation, as buyers are receiving the right quantity but seeing misleading information on the listing. Would any Amazon representative here be able to assist in correcting this attribute?
Affected ASINs and Correct Values:
✅ B0DNJQWN6J → Item Package Quantity: 1 pack
✅ B0DT7M857D → Item Package Quantity: 3 pack
Any guidance on escalating this or having the PDP reflect the correct information would be highly appreciated.
Looking forward to a resolution!
Best,
